Welcome to Debt Tracker. By downloading, accessing, or using the Debt Tracker mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the App and must discontinue use immediately.

1. Use of the Application

Debt Tracker provides a set of tools to help you track personal debt and calculate payoff strategies (such as Snowball and Avalanche). It is intended for personal use only.

Not Financial Advice: The App is a calculator and organizational tool. We are not financial advisors, and the information generated by the App does not constitute professional financial advice. Always consult with a qualified financial professional before making significant financial decisions.

2. Data Storage and Responsibility

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, Debt Tracker is strictly offline-first. All data is stored locally on your device.

• We do not have access to your data.
• If you lose your device, or delete the app without first creating a backup (if functionality is provided), your data will be permanently lost.
• We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or inaccuracies arising from your use of the App.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the App for any purpose other than that for which we make the App available. You agree not to:

• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the App.
• Reverse assemble, reverse compile, decompile, translate, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying components of models, algorithms, and systems of the App.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any payoff dates, interest calculations, or strategies generated by the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms. Continuing to use the App after such changes implies your consent to the new terms.
